Inspired by Princess Leia breaking the chains of her oppressor in Star Wars: Return of The Jedi, 2 Watch Space GRRRLs go Bi aims to make women and femmes unbound from the hetero male gaze in science fiction. The artists have created immersive 3D viewing experience by utilizing tools of craft and assemblage that will evoke an organic and fluid sense of being. Combining vintage imagery and an interactive installation, Whitmore and Fairbarns will create a queer futuristic space.
